Usher Super Bowl Halftime Outfits
A showstopper on stage and in the wardrobe. If there is one thing that Usher can pull off, it is a bedazzled suit. Flooring the stage Dolce and Gabbana and Off- white pieces, his monochrome ensembles were the perfect addition to an already showstopping performance and all artistic bases were thoroughly thought out.

Usher’s initial look was a cream Dolce and Gabbana 2-piece suit as seen above with added embellishment and layers that were unsurprisingly shown as the show went on and Usher started to strip down. He took to the stage in a very cape-esque cream coat with sparkly diamond details, alluding to his status as the king of Las Vegas. From only his second song, his first layer was removed to show an incredible cropped jacket with again, a diamond broach with matching diamond gloves (a touching ode to Michael Jackson) and revealing another hidden element under this. As the show became more intense, Usher channelled a Russian nesting doll and revealed yet another showstopping layer which uncovered a sparkly sleeveless vest top with huge sparkly pendant with the letter ‘U’ as the perfect accessory. While he did not keep these layers for long and showed his promised abs, this cream ensemble encapsulated the first half songs wonderfully.

With a speed quick change, Usher then ran to the stage in a completely showstopping moto jacket as seen above as embellished with 394,000 crystals, it’s a surprise guests were not blinded. This year Usher has expressed wanting to pay tribute to black artists in the fashion industry and chose this piece by Off-White on one of the biggest events of the year. The moto jacket was so incredibly Usher and was paired with equally bedazzled trousers and gloves for the second half of this set. While thinking that this show could not be any more brilliant, he again took to the stage in this biker look with $1,450 Flipper’s Quadz by Usher roller-skates to continue the most well-deserved performance of a lifetime.
Usher is not new to the fashion world and consistently brings co-ordinated ensembles to the runway (seen during Paris Fashion Week) with tons of embellishments. This touching and nostalgic performance revealed tons of hidden elements from his surprise guests, to his layering, to his roller-skates- Usher is a performer at his core and we can hope that he continues to explore his collaboration with his shows and the fashion world.
