Here at Story Magazine we love great lingerie. Fashion Designer and fashion icon Pearl Lowe the mother of TV presenter Daisy Lowe is set to captivate the world with a highly anticipated black lace lingerie collection. She will redefine glamour with a collection consisting of a beautiful black lace bra and knickers set, a lace body that accentuates your curves and the coveted black lace Suzy skirt and matching Audrey shirt.

It is a significant milestone as it is Pearl’s first-ever lingerie line. We are obsessed because we have loved Pearl’s work and aesthetic from the very start. The icon has redefined style and fashion.

Given our excitement about the line we were honoured to speak to Pearl about it for all the scoop!

1. Tell us about this collection and all we should know about it

I have been an admirer of black lace for many years. My first dress collection in 2006 was created solely from black lace. I find myself continually drawn to its exquisiteness. I decided to create a collection where you can mix and match pieces. You can wear the Marilyn dress, or the Audrey shirt and Suzy skirt with either the Venus body or the bra and knickers underneath and to finish off your outfit add the black lace flower choker.

2. What are your favourite designs from it?

I love the black lace Venus body, as it’s incredibly flattering. It can be worn on its own, on a beach or in the evening you can dress it up with a pair of trousers and high heels, It’s unbelievably versatile.

3. Who did you design this in mind for?

I designed this collection with my youngest daughter Betty in mind. She has a great eye for design and loves dressing up for parties. In fact, she has taken all the samples to wear over the summer.

4. How would you like to see this collection worn?

I see it with big gold hoop earrings and black high mules!

We love this line and cannot wait to snap each piece. We love how Pearl continues to shape fashion and style. Her youngest daughter Betty models the line. Shop her lingerie here.
