Backstage Pass | Maki Oh

Amaka Osakwe is lauded by the likes of celebrities and Vogue. It is easy to see why. Her use of ‘Adire’ (a blue indigo dyed fabric with patterns native to Nigeria) has grown from strength to strength. For spring summer 2020 she takes things up a notch by exploring evening wear. Chains and other embellishments feature on the seperates and dresses. There is vintage glamour about the designs that feels almost 90’s in feel. With hair by @ursulastephens and photography by @cosmicinsanity, this backstage pass was worth writing home about.
