Best Dressed MTV VMAs 2025

Two days ago the MTV VMAs took place. The red carpet as is in keeping with the VMAs was a mixed bag of red carpet fashion style wise. From high end style to boudoir dressing to school girl inspired suiting, there was a varied range of looks. The stars turned out and had fun dressing up. If you are looking for style inspiration as the last weeks of Summer fade into the leaf colour changing days of Autumn, look no further than the VMAs red carpet because there was something for everyone.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter took her signature retro boudoir lingerie pin-up style dressing to the red carpet in a red lace gown and lilac stole both by Valentino.
Ariana Grande
The Pop star and Actress was styled by Image Architect Law Roach. Arianna wore one of the biggest trends of 2025, polka dots and this gown by Fendi was inspired by an archival Fendi gown from the Eighties and we approve!
Doja Cat
Doja Cat had as hooked at first glance with this bubblegum hued harlequin print confection by Balmain as accessorized by a giant lipstick clutch by Judith Leiber. Her hair was everything too! We heart the 80’s coiffure; one part Dynasty, one part Rock star by way of Tina Turner.
Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton, The Blonds, an a flame inspired red carpet fashion moment? Need we say more? We don’t think so!
Tate McRae
Tate McRae looked a vision in a Medusa inspired white sheer Ludovic de Saint Sernin custom look that was bridal meets whimsical fantasy. An all white look is always a good idea.
Tyla
Tyla gave us one of our favourite looks of the night. Tyla has an incredible way of adding her own personal stamp to everything she wears and her vibe was totally all over this flirty micro vintage Chanel number.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga can always be relied on to bring the drama to proceedings. This time the designer of choice was Marc Jacobs and he did not disappoint.
GloRILLA
GloRILLA did school girl charm meets tailored perfection in a plaid suit with corset by British fashion house Helen Anthony, a brand that has become synonymous with tailoring.
Ice Spice
We would not have expected this corseted design from Ralph Lauren but we think it was one of the most memorable on the night.
FKA Twigs
Twigs does avant-garde like none else. This burgundy two piece is certainly one for the style books.
