My Utopia is a joint exhibition by Manchester Based Creatives; artist Emma Evans and photographer Richard Kelly.
Emma Evans is an abstract artist who is known for her colourful, playful doodles. Work has included clients like Nike and Parkylife (a Parkinson’s initiative). She is an Art Battle finalist, runs workshops for MancSpirit mental health charity, created art for Highpoint music festival and is currently on show at Comme Ca Art.
Richard Kelly is a fashion, music and portrait photographer. His work has been published in Rolling Stone Magazine, The Guardian, VICE, ELLE, Dazed & Confused etc. He is known for his music portraits. He has exhibited in the Fashion & Textile Museum, Robin Hurt Gallery in London and Colony in Manchester (a recent retrospective on 20 years of music photography).
My Utopia sees these two creatives come together in a playful debut collaborative exhibition on work conceived over the UK COVID-19 lockdown that inspires you to see things differently.
