The Met Gala has always been an opportunity to be seen. For the icon Diana Ross it’s to show her whole family. She arrived at the Met Gala, where the theme was “Tailoring Black style”, with Evan Ross and the designer of her dress. Ugo Mozie’s label “Eleven Sixteen” designed a fabulous gown that required more than 5 assistants to carry. 18-foot of length, Swarovski crystals and the most spectacular part is that those Swarovski rhinestones were used to sew her children and grandchildren’s names: Rhonda, Tracee, Chudney, Ross, and Evan—and her eight grandchildren’s—Raif, Callaway, Everlee, Leif, Indigo, Jagger, Bronx, and Ziggy. On her head she wore a custom wide brimmed hat by Sarah Sokol.

Her son Evan Ross accompanied his mother wearing Ugo Mozie’s label to match. Evan Ross said “She is the best thing. She is the Met Ball” to Vogue. Ross worked with Ugo Mozie to bring his mother’s show-stopping ensemble back.
