Style Icon Michelle Elie has a fearless approach to style. It is no wonder that her exhibition is called ‘Life Doesn’t Frighten Me: Michelle Elie wears Comme Des Garçons’. With over 70 pieces of the brand in her wardrobe, 55 pieces are on display at Museum Angewandte Kunst in Germany. With two films included in the exhibition which is open till August, the films explore Michelle’s relationship with Comme Des Garçons. The fashion house by Rei Kawakubo is known for conceptual work that is sometimes hardly wearable. The championing of this aesthetic by Michelle is the reason why she is a style icon who has influenced the international fashion weeks.
