Film Short | Chapter Two | My Wardrobe HQ
Film Short By TobiTade
Founded by Sacha Newall, My Wardrobe HQ is the UK’s first design fashion rental marketplace. Championing sustainability, this platform rents out high fashion from over five hundred brands. You can rent designs and accessories from as little as £8 per day. Customers have the option of buying the pieces too. Sourced from many a closest of celebrity, the variety is vast and the brands are the very best in the world; Manolo Blahnik, House of SheldonHall, Vivienne Westwood, Prada, Stella McCartney, Tom Ford, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Mary Katrantzou, Philip Lim and much more.
We at Story Magazine like how this platform encourages us to reuse and rethink how we shop. Any platform that helps with the fashion waste problem is a friend of Story.
We teamed up with My Wardrobe to outfit our Talent Issue 2021 cover entitled Northern Star as shot by David Yeo starring presenter and radio DJ Henry Kwushue. Story Magazine editor-in-chief Marian Kwei (formerly Kihogo who talks about the platform in the video) styles Kwushue in exclusive Burberry outerwear from My Wardrobe HQ. The shoes are a variety of high fashion houses and these are also from My Wardrobe HQ.
We love that it’s sustainable. We love that they make high fashion accessible to the masses. We love the range they stock.
