Gucci Launches Vegan Bag
Billie Eilish fronts a new campaign for Gucci. The campaign introduces the public to Gucci’s first non-leather bag. Made from Demetra an animal free material developed exclusively by Gucci, Demetra consists of 75% plant-based materials and was first used by Gucci in 2021.
An asymmetric version of the classic Horsebit 1955 Gucci bag is the first bag design by the fashion house to have an iteration in Demetra. The hardware is recycled metal.
The campaign sees Eilish with the various versions of the bag.
