Oscars 2025 Best Dressed

With the Oscars the biggest night in film comes incredible red carpet fashion. What a red carpet it was last night! From method dressing to grown-up glamour, this was A-list Hollywood glamour at its finest. There were many memorable looks but we have curated our top six favourite looks on the night.
Margaret Qualley
Margaret Qualley stunned in a custom backless black velvet Chanel gown with a bateau neck and puff sleeves. Like a real Chanel girl she accessorised with an 18K Chanel crystal fringe necklace worn backwards. The look was grown-up glamour at its best. Margaret and Chanel go hand in hand and it is sublime.
Ariana Grande
Ariana shone in new Schiaparelli couture by Daniel Roseberry. The design is a delight to see on the red carpet having wowed everyone when it recently debuted on the catwalk during couture fashion week. This was possibly one of the most special designs on the Oscars 2025 red carpet. That butter satin torso and the generous undulating wide tulle skirt is a dream!
Cynthia Erivo
For the press tour of Wicked, Cynthia Erivi has given us a taste of the very best in method dressing. Last night it was Elphaba-core with a green velvet Louis Vuitton gown with a wide pannier waist. Nominated on the night for an Oscar for best actress Cynthia was always going to shine on the Oscars 2025 carpet and that she did! Cynthia’s look was out favourite on the night. The gown was inspired by Hattie McDaniel, the first Black person, and first Black actress, to win an Oscar.
Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez exuded Old Hollywood glamour in Ralph Lauren last night. The Emilia Pérez star shone in the off the shoulder gown as embellished with 16,000 glass droplets. The custom gown was inspired by the inimitable Sophia Loren. The gown was perfectly accessorised with a diamond drop collared necklace and diamond earrings and some rings. Her hair and beauty were sublime too. The finished result was Old Hollywood screen idol meets royalty. This look is one of Gomez’s best red carpet moments.
Demi Moore
Demi Moore nominated for Best Actress for The Substance turned heads in a a sparkling Armani Privé gown with plunging neck as gathered at the hips. The gown brought her character in The Substance to life. Sine was Moore’s aim for the night as the gown as worn with Chopard jewels; a wrap around bracelet, diamond high shine chandelier earrings and a huge diamond ring. We are obsessed with this look!
Halle Berry
Halle Berry was the belle of the ball in a mirrored Christian Siriano gown with shimmering embroidery. Silver looks were a recurring theme for the night and this look was one of the key ones. The sides of the gown featured a semi-sheer black panel adding interest to the mesmerising gown. This is one of Siariano’s best red carpet designs thus far.
