The Best Of Brick Lane | Rokit Vintage Brick Lane

We can’t talk about Brick Lane without acknowledging the endless choice of independent clothing stores on offer for shoppers looking for a quirky find. A personal favourite of ours is Rokit. If you’re into vintage and shopping second-hand, you’ve most likely had a mooch in one of London’s most recognised vintage treasure troves, Rokit Vintage on 101 Brick Lane.

Rokit was founded in 1986 and originally specialised in American thrifted denim. Stepping into their shop on Brick Lane today, you can still expect high quality vintage denim as well as 70’s flower power dresses, wacky (in the best way) 80’s bomber jackets and even some y2k Juicy Couture. There really is something for everyone.

As vintage lovers ourselves, we know our stuff when it comes to shopping second-hand. There is a difference between sifting through every single rail in a charity shop and shopping in a boutique-like setting such as Rokit. A curated selection of pieces which have been carefully selected based on current trends and the quality of the garment. Don’t get us wrong, a good charity shop rummage is great but Rokit has made vintage shopping a breeze and most importantly, an experience. Thrift shopping on Brick Lane is considered a day out to many, with influencers taking to TikTok to document their day choosing their new pieces from Rokit then grabbing an iced latte down the road, after.
