The Best Sustainable Fashion Brands For Women In 2025
In recent years, I’ve made a conscious decision to move towards a slower way of shopping. Whether that be buying secondhand clothes on Vinted, or shopping from small businesses, I actively try to avoid “fast fashion”. Although easier said than done, I think everyone needs to shift towards shopping more consciously and buying with intention. This way you end up with a carefully curated wardrobe full of pieces you actually wear, love and know will stand the test of time. Obviously online buying and selling platforms like Vinted, Depop, Vestaire Collective, Ebay, Tilt etc. are a great way to free ourselves from the grips of high-street, cheap, and trend-orientated brands. But it’s understandable that buying second hand isn’t always an option, so we need to start celebrating those brands that are really driving the shift towards a more sustainable industry.
Here are some of my favourite sustainable brands to note. From small, up and coming labels to established, luxury designers, there’s something for everyone…
Coucou Intimates
Undies are our most disposable items… and on top of this only 2% of underwear is sustainably sourced. Coucou intimates was founded with the purpose of changing this, crafted with 100% Organic cotton. No compromising on style though. Coucou is all about elevated basics…blending your essential undies with special lingerie pieces. My favourite pieces from them are their Pointelle styles…
