All The Looks From Zendaya’s The Odyssey Press Tour

The red-carpet royalty has done it again. Zendeya who plays the goddess Athena, in the new Christophor Nolan movie, has reunited with stylist Law Roach for a stretch of Grecian looks. Each appearance was a different chapter in her goddess coded narrative. Across London and Paris, she cycled through Schiaparelli, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and finally Valentino.

Zendeya swept onto The Odyssey red carpet like a modern myth. Reflecting both early interpretations and modern ideas of her character, Athena, the star and her stylist, Law Roach, turned to a sheer, lightweight draping, sculptural body castings, and centuries old jewellery. The result has been a collection of vintage runways pulls, custom gowns, and, most recently, a straight from Paris ensemble that has its own jet waiting for it after the Schiaparelli show.

The Odyssey will see the Euphoria lead interpret Athena, goddess of war and wisdom, alongside Anna Hathaway, Matt Damon, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlie Theron and her new husband, Tom Holland.

Below is a breakdown of her looks…

1. Louis Vuitton

In Paris she wore a custom Louis Vuitton creation that reportedly took 800 hours to craft, the look was a sheer, lace trimmed white gown carved open with a bold diamond -shaped cutout and finished with thigh high slit that gave the ensemble its sculptural, ethereal movement.

2. Schiaparelli

For the London world premiere, she wore a white porcelain effect silicone bodice with a beaded fringe skirt- a couture piece flown straight from the runway the same day it debuted after the Schiaparelli show. The look references a Greek marble sculpture and her character Athena.

3. Givenchy

In Paris, Zendeya wears a white dress from the Givenchy Haute Couture spring 1997 collection, which originally walked the runway on Debra Shaw. Designed by Alexander McQueen, its trades delicate drapery for structure should pads, and includes dramatic sleeves that drape over the forearms.

5. Jacquemus

Zendaya went custom for this white Jacquemus look, designed with a draped, fluid open back connected to a head scarf. She accessories with a pair of earrings from Baron London, constructed from 1st- millennium BC ancient discs.

6. Trussardi

The actors first press tour look is a billowing Trussardi spring 2006 dress with delicate pleats pinched by a studded patchwork. Her gem stone Christian Louboutin heels glimmer as she stepped out in London.
