INFDark Fall Winter 2026
On Sunday at London Fashion Week, I had the privilege of attending the INFDark show and it was far more than just a runway presentation. It felt like stepping into a fully realized performance piece. Brought all the way from Taiwan, independent designer Kuo Wei proved that his label, INF, belongs on an international stage.
INF is known for its precision in structure, cutting, and pattern-making, and this A/W 2026 collection pushed that identity even further. Made for the rebels, the collection focused on unruliness, not in a chaotic way, but in the sense of challenging traditional construction. The inspiration centered around the transformation process itself: structure becoming garment, the raw becoming refined. It was about honoring the in-between stages of creation rather than just the polished final product.
Details that are usually hidden: inner seams, underlayers, framework, were intentionally exposed and elevated into standalone design elements. Relaxed and oversized silhouettes dominated the runway: baggier trousers, slouched tailoring, layered underlays peeking through. Gauze-like fabric accents added texture and fragility, giving the collection a barren, desert-like mood that felt distressed yet refined at the same time. There was something beautifully undone about it all.

The atmosphere on the catwalk matched this vision perfectly. The models walked slowly, almost dragging their steps, with ragged, messy hair and zombie-like makeup that gave a post-apocalyptic, slightly disturbed presence. It wasn’t just styling for shock value, it reinforced the designer’s chosen narrative. The storytelling through both the garments and the overall vibe was seamlessly coordinated. You didn’t just watch the clothes; you felt the world they existed in.
What I appreciated most was how cohesive the experimentation felt. Every look contributed to a larger story. The color palette: deep blues, muted yellows, blacks, and rich maroons created visual consistency while still allowing each piece to stand out. Baggy suits brought a ready-to-wear familiarity to an otherwise conceptual narrative, grounding the collection in something tangible. Distressed cargo pants stamped with INF labels paired with relaxed, structured shirts demonstrated the technical craftsmanship behind the rebellion. The tailoring was purposeful; nothing felt accidental. Each piece was beautifully constructed, even in its intentional deconstruction. The contrast that precision exists within disorder, is what made the collection so compelling.

My favorite moment of the show came at the very end. All the models returned to the runway together, walking in a uniform, synchronized formation. They moved almost like prisoners and like they were controlled and restrained, powerfully emphasizing both the distress and the cohesion embedded in the story. Seeing all the looks as a collective rather than individually reinforced how carefully thought out the entire narrative was.
INFDark wasn’t just a show; it was a statement on construction, exposure, and rebellion. And on a week as packed as London Fashion Week, that kind of immersive storytelling is what truly lingers.
