The Wellness Trends You Need To Know With Claire Renee Thomas

As Winter eases into Spring it is the perfect to come out of your hibernation and into effective wellness routines that work for you.

If you are wondering what the wellness trends that you need to know we spoke to Claire Renée Thomas founder of Reaching My Best, she is a mindset and mindfulness coach, and one of the few certified mental fitness coaches in the UK. Her passion and focus is on guiding and empowering women to unlock their full potential and overcome any obstacles they may be facing personally or professionally. Her mission is not just to guide individuals to greater fulfilment, but to empower them to lead rewarding, purpose-driven lives.

We spoke to her about wellness and this is what she shared!

1. The must-know wellness trends of the moment?

Learning Mental Fitness is an incredibly powerful and life-changing wellness trend that everyone can benefit from. It’s incredible to see so many people speaking authentically about their mental health challenges, but finding effective ways to build resilience and strategies that can keep our minds fit is harder. Mental Fitness is so powerful because it helps you understand the different ways that we self-sabotage. This awareness opens us up to understanding our own and other’s behaviours, which in turn gives us more choice about how we respond to the daily challenges we face. Learning quick and easy techniques to help us remain calm in a challenging situation helps to rewire our brains so that the unconscious automatic response is to be calmer. This takes the conceptual understanding of our behaviours in to a deeper, more experiential realm which changes the way that we “see” the world. This newer, more positive lens on life gives us access to more kindness, compassion and empathy making us mentally more fit!

2. A mental fitness program that works and how to incorporate it into our lives?

3. What else we should know?

Ultimately our wellness is influenced by the lens we view the world through which itself is influenced by our experiences, our beliefs, customs, culture etc. We all have the power to change how we see the world and our own wellness, but to do that we have to look inside. It’s how we respond to what goes on around us that makes us feel well, happy and fulfilled. Taking time to explore our behaviours and responses changes our perspective from one of fear, anxiety or worry to being present, enjoying the moment and having love, compassion and kindness for all other beings. This is ultimate wellness.
