Victoria Beckham X Mango
Victoria Beckham’s minimalism and tailored look comes to the highstreet today via a collaboration with Mango. The collection features minimalist lines and an unfussed approach to dressing. The 46 piece line-up has everything from spaghetti strap maxi slip dresses, blouses, tailored trousers, angular blazers to even accessories. The neutral palette in keeping with Beckham’s pared back approach.
The collection is apparently inspired by Jane Birkin’s character in French film ‘La Piscine’. Beckham wanted the natural ease and freedom that the character possessed to be infused into this collection. The inspiration led to crochet pieces and swimwear that echo the the French Riviera costumes Birkin wears in the film.
