Paris Fashion Fall 2025 Beauty Trends
Whether it’s slick back hair, or trying to find your perfect shade of lip liner, Paris Fashion Week Fall 2025 was showcasing it all. Beauty trends for this year have been creating an uproar of interest over social media the last couple months, and it’s only March!
When we’re talking about AW25 trends, Paris Fashion Week should always get a mention, from its creativity and broad style, to some of the greatest high end labels in the game, here are some of our favourite beauty trends seen this year.
Lip liner

It’s safe to say lip liners have become a popular staple piece in most women’s beauty routine over the years, and recently everyone has been trying to find their “perfect shade”, whether it’s content creators trying to find the perfect match, or everyone following celebrity glam GRWM’s such as Billie Eilish on tiktok. At PFW this year, we’ve seen lip liner becoming statement pieces of beauty across many of the shows. From a sharp, black, chic outline shown at the Mame Kurogouchi Show, or the slightly messier, freestyle two tones lip at Kronthaler Westwood, we can see lip liner is becoming a fun, elegant attention point of today’s makeup and beauty.
Flowing hair

We are no strangers to the wavy or curly casual hair trends, from beach waves to perms, this has been an ongoing look we’ve seen over the years, and AW25 is no exception. We’ve seen a continuous trend of free flowing, wavy hair on the runways such as the Chloé Women’s Wear 2025/26 runway, and the Chanel runway. The freely messy, slightly worn out look is a contrast to what we were seeing a lot of PFW24, with lots of structural features of the hair, using attributes such as gel slick backs, and extravagant hats or head covers, and is encapsulating the feel of this year’s fall trends.
Strong eyeliner

Bold eyeliner has always had its comebacks, from the 2016 beauty glam trends of a sharp cut crease, to smaller subcategories of aesthetics throughout 2020, and we’ve seen AW25 showcasing a lot of bold and striking eyeliners throughout the week. I don’t think we can talk about liner without an honourable mention to the Ardazaei Runway. The bold eye looks being the focus feature of the face, while everything else is slightly muted, it’s safe to say that was one of the key focus points we were being drawn to.
“Clean girl” makeup

Over the last year, the “clean girl” makeup trend has been gaining popularity amongst beauty trends. Glowy, dewy looking makeup looks being sported on the Runways during Fashion Week this year, was not at all a shock. The minimalistic look, as if you aren’t wearing any product, has been showcased on many occasions, from the Shiatzy Chen Runway, to the Saint Laurent Runway. The neutral color scheme on the face, allows attention to be drawn elsewhere such as the brand’s clothing, or the hair and I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of the natural makeup looks throughout 2025.
The slick back

AW25 no doubtedly had many different arrays of fun and fresh hairstyles shown throughout the week, but the one that kept making a comeback on many of the Runways was the slick back. No parts in the hair, no draping pieces, this look attends to the more businesslike side of the looks shown this year. With the hair being pushed out of the face, it’s creating space for the makeup and accessories to shine through. This was showcased all throughout in the Akris Runway, drawing attention to the brands clothing.
