Mis-Teeq have no plans for further shows or new music following their Wembley reunion, as Sabrina Washington prepares to return to the stage with a new solo tour.
Mis-Teeq reunited this year to celebrate 25 years since the release of their debut album, Lickin’ on Both Sides. Sabrina Washington, Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash returned for A One Night Stand With Mis-Teeq, a special anniversary concert at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on 12 September.
The concert was announced as a one-off show rather than a full reunion tour, bringing the trio back together more than 20 years after Mis-Teeq originally split.
MIS-TEEQ RETURN TO WEMBLEY
The Wembley concert saw Washington, Dixon and Nash perform songs from across Mis-Teeq’s catalogue, including One Night Stand, All I Want, B With Me and Scandalous.
The show also included an appearance from original member Zena McNally, who joined Washington, Dixon and Nash on stage for Why?, bringing the original four-member line-up back together for the performance.
McNally left Mis-Teeq in 2001 before Washington, Dixon and Nash continued as a trio. Her Wembley appearance became another part of the group’s 25th-anniversary reunion.
The Wembley concert was the main event of Mis-Teeq’s return and had been billed from the beginning as a special one-off show celebrating the anniversary of Lickin’ on Both Sides.
MIS-TEEQ GO THEIR SEPARATE WAYS
Following the reunion, Washington has confirmed that Mis-Teeq have no plans for further gigs or new music and that the group will go their separate ways. Her representatives have also said that Washington, Dixon and Nash have decided not to continue with further Mis-Teeq dates beyond Wembley.
The announcement comes shortly after the Wembley concert, but no wider reunion tour had been announced. The September show had always been promoted as a one-off event.
Washington, however, is continuing the celebration of Mis-Teeq’s music with her own live shows.
SABRINA WASHINGTON ANNOUNCES SOLO TOUR
Washington has announced a headline tour titled A One Night Stand Just Ain’t Enough, which begins in February 2027. The shows will combine Mis-Teeq songs with material from her solo career.
The five-date run begins at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on 5 February, followed by O2 Academy Birmingham on 6 February and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 26 February. Washington will then perform at O2 Academy Glasgow on 17 April and O2 City Hall Newcastle on 24 April.
The tour is designed around the UK garage, pop and R&B music associated with the early 2000s. DJs and dancers will form part of the shows, with special guests and familiar faces from the era planned across the tour.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on 28 September. Five dates have been announced across Manchester, Birmingham, London, Glasgow and Newcastle.
Washington’s solo tour follows a Mis-Teeq reunion that brought the trio back together more than two decades after their original split. For now, there are no further Mis-Teeq concerts or new music planned.
